Start with the outside of your home, or your curb appeal. Examine the exterior of your house from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What wonderful features seem hidden?
Acknowledging this assists us in deciding what steps we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with touched up paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.
Curb Appeal Checklist >
"Welcome to your new home!"
Does your house seem to say, "Hello From Your New Welcome Home" to a buyer? Looking through your house with a buyer's eye, we'll recommend fixes that build up Open House appeal.
We'll advise you get rid of anything that gives the appearance of clutter. Counter tops should be clutter-free. Arts and crafts, souvenirs, family photos, and play time works of art should get stored away too. We can help you simplify the decor of house. Less than inviting or cluttered spaces make your home seem less spacious and buyers have a harder time seeing themselves calling your property "home".
We know instantly what a room's best features are and how to show them off. We'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, rugs needing to get changed, fixtures that need polishing, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively affect the sale.
Potential buyers like to see a house that brings them inside. Anything that could be too personal should be removed in order for your property to have general appeal while on the market.

Setting the Stage
At every showing, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses.
Dark living areas can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like part the curtains and add lighting where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing softly and ensure a delightful scent flows room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking throws, and throw pillows on your couch and bed. We want buyers to feel like your home is their future home.
